Emmy + Travis wedding day!!! A gorgeous afternoon in Yale, Virginia at the beautiful Clay Hill Garden Events. During an intimate ceremony with close friends and family these two vowed to love, honor, and serve one another forever.
This wedding is special to me because not only do I know Emmy and Travis personally from church but my own family was able to be there as well. The kids thought it was so cool to see me “working” and we couldn’t keep Ava Jane off the dance floor haha!!
Some of my favorite moments from the day include their unique unity ceremony. Emmy and Travis opted to braid a cross signifying their relationship with each other as well as keeping God intertwined in the center of their marriage. Such an awesome idea!! The coupe also shared a private last dance together while guests got ready for their grand exit. Loving this trend and I hope it sticks around!! Great way for couples to enjoy a few moments to themselves.
