Caitlyn and Harrison are two people who were perfectly made for each other. He is more quiet and she is more loud and spunky. But to see how they balance each other out is quite a gift. Caitlyn and Harrison’s May wedding took place at their hometown church in Suffolk, VA and included a choreographed father daughter dance, flower men, and the hype’s reception!!
The day started off with capturing details as well as the couple getting ready. They were both surrounded by loving friends and family. Caitlyn opted to wait to see Harrison until the ceremony and chose to do a first look with her dad. **Get the tissues out for this one**! She brought a sign that had been in her room since she was little that red – “My prince did come, his name is Daddy”. Her Dad was soooo surprised and made for the sweetest moment between them!
Ceremony time came and Harrison looked on so excitedly as Caitlyn came down the aisle held by her proud father. The two shared personal vows with each other promising to love, support, and encourage one another for ever. Then, they did something I haven’t seen before but loved!! They did a unity painting signifying them becoming one. Such a cute idea!!
A few of my favorite moments from the day also include the “flower men” who announced the couple into the reception. They took their job very seriously and I’m sure exceeded all expectations LOL!!! Also, the choreographed father/daughter dance was above and beyond anything I’ve seen!! They started out slow then broke it to popular songs through generations perfectly orchestrating each dance!! Still amazed!!!
Congratulations Caitlyn and Harrison!! Thank you so much for allowing me to be apart of your wedding day and wish you both nothing but the best 🙂
