All last week Virginia weather had chances of rain for every single day. During the whole week it barely rained then sure enough, Saturday gets here and it’s POURING!!! But that didn’t stop Oscar and Coral from being amazingggg troopers and having the BEST time during their summer wedding in Smithfield at Chippokes park.
Chippokes is a beautiful place if you want to get married somewhere with lots of great nature! The property has tons of places to explore for portraits! Thankfully the rain subsided for a bit and we were able to sneak away for Bride and Groom photos near the water. Oscar and Coral were naturals in front of the camera lookin like straight models!!
Some of my favorite moments included Coral’s outfit change into a second dress!!! Both absolutely stunningggg!! And for any wedding, the specialty dances are what always get me. Coral shared one with her dad and step dad, and Oscar had one with his mom. All of them were so heartfelt. You could just feel the love and joy each had for the couple. Also – huge shoutout to Coral’s Mimi for being amazing and coordinating/decorating!! She was our chauffeur in the rain, coordinator for ceremony/reception details, and so much more!!
Thanks to Coral and Oscar for letting me document this awesome day! They say rain on your wedding day is good luck and you both never let it hinder your excitement! A couple who is clearly loved by so many, I wish you both nothing but the best as you embark on this new adventure.
