As I sit here to write this blog post I have a hundred things to say about this beautiful wedding and no idea where to begin!! For instance, the amount of thought and detail that went into this entire day ~ whew!! So much beauty you won’t want to miss!! Abby and Hunter are two of the kindest people with such “old souls” and a love of vintage, country, and nature. As a result, all of these elements **and more** were prevalent throughout their whole wedding!!
The day started with me arriving at the cutest airBnB in Portsmouth!! The girls were all together getting ready, and rocking out to Chris Stapleton. Abby of course, already looked amazinggg and her bridal details obviously followed suit. For example, timeless and classic is one of the best ways to describe it!! Abby truly was one of the most beautiful brides I’ve seen!!
After that we ventured on to the ceremony site. On a backroad in Suffolk, surrounded by open cotton fields and trees was the cutest little church. Abby and Hunter really wanted a traditional wedding and Cypress Chapel Church provided the best ceremony location!! With beautiful stained glass windows and wooden pews to match their wedding theme, and its own interesting history this church was simply perfect!
Some of my favorite moments of the day included all of the “first looks”. Abby has such a close relationship with both her father and her brother so she wanted to do a first look with both of them together at the same time. Her sweet dad was crying before Abby even told them to turn around ~ y’all …. try keeping it together during that to take pictures!!
Also, Hunter and Abby shared their own first look and read letters to each other. Such a sweet moment together, just them, before the ceremony. After that it was time for them to officially become husband and wife!!
Wishing these two nothing but blessing over their life together and their marriage!! Such an honor to have had the privilege of capturing their day and getting to know them!! Keep scrolling to see just SOME of the highlights of the day 🙂
xoxo,
Emily
