This day was definitely one to remember!! It was the first time I was able to capture a wedding at the beautiful Williamsburg Inn and I couldn’t have worked with a more “in love” couple!! This day was long overdue and after a wedding date change, Amanda and James shared their vows in front of family and friends.
During our first consultation call way back in 2020 I knew Amanda and I were going to make a great team. She was a woman with a plan and ready for action. I always help my brides create a personalized timeline based on a questionnaire of their day. Now usually I send this out 2 or so months in advance before the wedding day. Well Amanda said she was ready for it and instantly had it filled out!!! A fellow Type A planner, our kindred spirits were a perfect pair haha!!!
When wedding day came everything was simply beautiful. Some of my favorite parts of day included how they involved Amanda’s son Mason. You can instantly see their special mother/son bond. They even shared their own first look together before the ceremony. Mason instantly threw his arms around his Mom and hugged her as fast as he could ~ cue the tears!! I also loved how this new family of 3 shared a group hug at the end of the ceremony and walked down the aisle together hand in hand.
Amanda and James anxiously waited for the right time to have their wedding and I think it’s safe to say it couldn’t have been more perfect! An amazing family who deserved nothing but the best.
