Getting that inquiry from Moriah about photographing their wedding was like a blast from the past. We grew up together in church from the time I was about 12-15 and now I have the privilege of documenting her wedding to a guy who makes her so extremely happy! So excited to share with y’all some of their summer engagement session!
Usually when families and couples reach out to me about a session I ask them to either choose a place that has meaning to them or give me an idea of what they’re looking for in their photos. Moriah and Tyler chose the Mariner’s Museum in Newport News for their engagement session because; 1.This is actually where they’ll be getting married at later this year! And 2. This is where they had their second date!! AWww!!! Talk about a meaningful location!!
Not only is this couple extremely passionate about each other but they also ADORE their dogs ~ (think four-legged children) so when they asked if the pups could tag along on their session of course I had to say, YES! Let it be known that I always welcome pets to sessions because it helps make everyone more comfortable and are just as much part of the family. {Well except for snakes, I don’t get down with snakes soooo y’all can leave them at home HA! ;)}.
It was especially meaningful to have their dogs because Tyler actually used Moriah’s pup when proposing. He bought a cute bandana from Shutterfly that said “Will you marry me?” and sent him out as soon as she got home ~ how cute!?!? It’s so fun hearing engagement stories and how unique they are. This one was just perfect considering how much they both love their pups.
Moriah and Tyler thank you so much for such a great time during your engagement session! Can’t wait to see y’all again in October to document your joyous wedding day!!!
