So many feelings as I write up the blog post for my lasttt wedding of 2021. This year has been quite the whirlwind and I’m beyond thankful to end it with such a sweet couple as Matt and Molly. Their wedding day at the Historic Post Office in Hampton Virginia was nothing short of extraordinary!! Get ready to see the most beautiful blue and white patterns complimenting a classic and elegant December wedding.
Molly and I connected through a mutual friend of ours who was their original wedding photographer, Sarah Lin. Due to her exciting news of becoming pregnant she was unable to continue to do their wedding. This is where I come in 🙂
The day started with walking up to greet the girls, finding out Molly and her bridesmaids already had ALL her details ready to go for pictures ~ talk about a great way to start work haha!! Molly has a signature white and blue look that she thoughtfully incorporated into all the details of her and Matt’s wedding day. She also made a needlepoint belt for Matt as well as the keychains for all the groomsmen!!! Girls definitely got skills!!!
A few of my favorite moments from the day includes how fun of a wedding party this group was!! The whole day they were ready for anything, always laughing and smiling. Also Matt and Molly’s reception will forever be one of my favorites. Y’all their playlist was AMAZINGGG and the dance floor was never empty the entire night. Which reminds me, I need to get that playlist 😉
Congratulations to the newlyweds!! Molly and Matt, you two complete each other in the best way possible and are truly loved by your friends and family. Wishing you both nothing but the best as you begin this new chapter of life together!!
