Clients turned into sweet friends.
That is exactly what comes to mind of when I think of Ashley and Ben. What started out with meeting to potentially photograph their wedding has led to an engagement session, TWO weddings (thanks COVID for the extra fun), maternity, and now documenting this next journey of life ~ parenthood, through a lifestyle newborn session.
Their sweet daughter, Amelia, is simply beautiful! Throughout the entire session she was an absolute angel. Not once did she fuss or cry. She slept, woke up for her close up and went right on back to sleep safely in her Daddy’s arms. However, one thing I’ll never forget from this session was how Amelia looked at Ashley. There was a moment when I was taking pictures of the family just sitting on the floor and sweet Amelia looked up at Ashley with such amazement. As if in awe of the fact that Ashley was her Mama. The sweetest moment!!! Everyone is simply smitten with her, even her “big sister” Lady Bird who was also caught stealing some kisses ;).
Also, it can’t go without mention that Amelia has a beauuutifullll room!!! Like seriously y’all the most adorable!! Legit Pinterest worthy!! One of the best parts, a lot (if not most) of the decor has significant meaning. The beautiful curtains in her room were sew together by family. All (maybe 1 isn’t ~ I can’t remember lol) of the blankets hanging on Amelia’s blanket ladder were made by family and friends as gifts and the sign hanging above the crib was made for them as well.
Beyond happy and excited for this growing family and truly honored to have had the privilege of capturing Amelia’s first photos!! Praying nothing but God’s favor over this sweet family.
