Well y’all…. we did it!! We’ve almost made it to the end of 2020!! If I truly sit down to try and think of all this year has brought I honestly can’t wrap my head around it. Pandemic, politics, social distancing, masks, etc. These are all words that will forever “brand” this year. But I didn’t want that to define it for everyone. So… I decided to continue with the annual Santa Mini Experience in hopes of spreading some love and joy during this crazy season.
If I’m being totally honest, this year **almost** didn’t happen. I was truthfully a little afraid of what it would even look like to host these minis. However, with the help of the best Santa in the Hampton Roads (East Coast Santa), my amazing sister, the cutest little tree farm, and alllllll the awesome families who came out ~ 2020 Santa Mini Experience was a hit!! 🙂
Each year of hosting these minis is special but this one will forever be a favorite. Most of these kids have experienced the unimaginable this year. They’ve been resilient during school shutdowns, distancing from friends, and more. Seeing their joy when they got to just talk to Santa was seriously the best sight!! Their eyes lit up, smiles stretched across their faces. And the parents were just as excited to see their children happy.
THANK YOU so much to everyone who came out and made this year extra special. I hope we were able to put a little joy into your holiday season.
