Western Kentucky University graduation photos were the highlight of this unforgettable 48-hour trip to Kentucky celebrating two huge milestones in my family. I traveled to photograph both my cousin Ellie, graduating from WKU and another cousin, Reese, finishing her senior year of high school, making this quick trip full of memories, celebration, and exciting new beginnings.
As a senior photographer, getting the opportunity to capture both a high school senior session and a college graduation session in Kentucky during the same trip was such a meaningful experience.
Western Kentucky University Graduation Photos
For Ellie’s Western Kentucky University graduation session, we explored some of the most iconic locations around WKU’s campus. Between the beautiful architecture, classic columns, staircases, and vibrant school colors, Western Kentucky University made the perfect backdrop for timeless graduation photos.
Her bright red stole and heels added the perfect pop of color throughout the session, and every part of the session felt joyful, confident, and full of excitement for what’s ahead. College graduation sessions are always so special because they celebrate years of hard work, growth, and accomplishment.

Kentucky High School Senior Session
During the trip, I also had the chance to photograph Reese as she prepares for graduation and everything that comes next. Senior year is such a huge milestone, and I love documenting this exciting in-between season before life changes in big ways.
One of my favorite things about senior photography is capturing personality and genuine moments. Whether it’s laughing between poses, exploring new locations, or simply celebrating who they are right now, senior sessions are about so much more than just photos.
