First wedding of 2024 was absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Full of softly colored florals, picturesque wedding venue, and the most amazing couple!! Alyssa and Travis officially became Mr. & Mrs. O’Connell at their Historic Jasmine wedding while their most loved friends and family joined in the celebration. Keep that scroll to read about some of my favorite details and intimate moments from the day!!
Once I arrived the day of the wedding, I found Alyssa (looking glamorous!!!). Scooped up her wedding day details; pressed flowers, the cutest little perfume bottle, and more!! This couple stuck true to their spring wildflower theme. Another favorite of mine was their masterpiece of do-it-yourself details. Alyssa and Travis had these vintage inspired mirrors with lettering on them, welcoming their guests. There was no short of thoughtfulness in any aspect of the wedding day or planning!
Alyssa and Travis decided to share a “first touch” before their ceremony. For those who may not know, this is an intimate moment where the couple can touch hands and talk without actually seeing each other before the actual wedding. During this time they chose to share their personal vows with one another. Travis was about two sentences in before he began to get emotional which naturally made Alyssa begin to tear up as well. Definitely a favorite moments of any wedding day but this was extra special!! You could sense the love and anticipation they both felt.
Afterwards, guests began to arrive and it was time for the ceremony!! Alyssa’s “bonus mom” was escorted down the aisle carrying a photo of her parents who have both passed away then placed their picture front and center so their presence could be felt. Truly such a touching moment that was felt by everyone in attendance.
Time for Alyssa to walk down the aisle!! Travis caught a glimpse of her and was in awe of how beautiful she looked!! After Alyssa and Travis exchanged vows and were announced husband and wife, then they went to ring the bell at the venue indicating they were officially married – time to celebrate!!! The reception included a “photo dash” of the couple with each table (thanks to the help of the awesome Melody & Co Entertainment). Guests dance and enjoyed themselves until it was time for Alyssa and Travis’s grand lantern exit to close out the night!!
This spring Historic Jasmine wedding day could not have been more perfect!! I wish Alyssa and Travis nothing but the best as they continue their personal love story as Husband and Wife. Forever thankful and grateful to have captured their day!!
