A sunset session on the beach in the Outer Banks is turning out to be one of my all time favs.
The soft pinks and blues truly do speak to my soul!! Insert an awesomely fun extended family on vacation and you’ve got yourself a good time!!
This session has been planned for months and when the time came for us to finally head down to Corolla for the session, I was soooo excited. The beach house where the session took place was almost 7 miles down the beach in Corolla, North Carolina so our prayers of making it there safely without getting suck – were answered HAHA!! The house is absolutely GORGEOUS and built by the father, truly beautiful inside and out (and is available for rent 😉 let me know if you’d like the link!)!!
Our time started out by the water and I think everyone was pretty excited!! There were lots of games played, hugs shared, tickle sessions, and exploring the waves and sand. The best part about beach sessions is simply letting kids explore. After we got our usual groupings of photos with all the family members, it was time for the “lifestyle” portion of our session. This is where everyone was encouraged to just hangout and have some fun with each other. Sometimes those are the best memories documented!!
Thankful to these families for spending part of their vacation time with me, and allowing me the privilege of capturing just a portion of their fun.
